I made it to Africa!

Well, I made it safely and its very very hot.
the African missionaries are super athletic and I am very jealous!
I can barely understand them....
The food is horrible.  Well we ate this one meal that was like a pile of beans so we decided oh this will be good, but it was gross and it had a fish at the bottom and fish eye's floating in the beans and stuff..... then we had this weird soup that was brown and it smelt like smacks cereal but it tasted so bad...
but the pine apple over here is white! and not as acidic! It truly is the fruit Lehi picked off the tree!

Left MTC - my companion is Elder Haggard! We are in a place called 'New Legon' (?) in the Adenta zone.
On Feb. 13th! ELDER HOLLAND is coming to visit the missionaries!
so the people here are awesome! i love it here its on the outskirts of Accra but just dirt everywhere! ha the food is amazing its a lot better then the food in the mtc.
So you know how ghana has 2 missions! well it will have 3 as of July 1st, the Kumasi Mission will be opening up.

Elder Holland is amazing! He told us we are part of the unfolding history of the church. getting sent to a foriegn mission the anceints only dreamed of doing! . he said there is no easy mission its all hard the lord wants you in this mission just cowboy up and realize that its hard because salvation is hard.! wow he is powerful!

I baptized Elfrida.
My faith in that we are inspired about what streets to go down was increased. We had this feeling to go down this street that we haven't gone down before. We came to this street because we were walking, the first house the people were kinda frustrating and didn't really want to talk to us so we went on. the next house no one answered so we knocked again this time a man came out of the door and told us to come in that he couldn't come to the gate because of his hernia. So we went in, we found that this man had been meeting with missionaries about 5 years ago and really liked the church but that was in a different country. Since he moved here he hasn't been able to find the church or missionaries. So he just forgot about us. Since then his life has literally hit rock bottom. He said he didn't believe in god anymore and his life is really messed up. He tried to kill him self the day before we came but thanks to a friend of his, that wrestled him down, and took the meds away. We have met with him every day since and he says he is starting to believe in god again and that his life is turning around. I love how the lord works...
